NAM National Pageant Participants and Families: This web page is prepared especially for you! We are providing the forms that you use for International in a downloadable format. By using these downloadable forms, you will be able to type-in your information onto the forms, without having to handwrite them. Of course, you can still handwrite the forms the traditional way. It is totally your choice.

Let’s Talk Paper

All forms will be printed on WHITE Bristol Card Stock or 24 lb. paper. A description of the paper and weight, is shown on the same line as each form. The papers are obtainable at most any major office supply (Ex: Staples, OfficeMax, Office Depot, etc.).

Tips

Things should go pretty straightforward for you. We have tested these forms on multiple computers and operating systems. However, with computers, anything is possible. So here are some tips if things seem to be shifting around too much for you:

• Note that if the size of the document, or the margins around the outside, do not look correct, then you may need to adjust your margins.. In Microsoft Word, you do that by going to “File” then “Page Setup” then “Margins.”

• It may be helpful for you to know how these documents were prepared. The jpeg “image” of the original form was placed inside a text box of its own in the background. Then we placed little specially sized text boxes on top of that image, so that you can type in your text. If things are getting too shifted around for you, you may want to “select” that background and size it, or move it, as needed.

• Before printing your final document onto your colored paper, try out a few passes onto some plain white paper. Compare them with the forms you received in the mail to see that the margins are in the correct place.

• If things get too far off, we suggest you download the form from this webpage and start over. Here are the forms. Be very careful to use the proper form. To be sure you have the correct form, please carefully compare it with the same form you received in your packet. Especially watch for your age division, and heading words like “All-American” or “National Finalist.”
