You have asked and we have made it official!! NAM will be hosting our Inaugural NAMily Cruise this summer!! This is a NAM event that you will not want to miss. This cruise will be all about having fun, bonding, growing confidence and rocking 2020!

This cruise is open to all NAMily, from any year! We invite everyone on board. It’s open to every girl that has ever been a NAM State Finalist, National Royalty, members of our NAM Alumni Foundation, state queens, state cover girls, city queens, and spotlight titleholders! Friends and family are welcome to join in the fun.

There will also be some of your key NAM staff members on board coordinating some fun photoshoots and activities you will not want to miss. We know this is a busy time of year but we hope that you will consider joining us this year.

Hello National American Miss Family:

We have a group block for the National American Miss 2020 group for anyone that is interested in vacationing with our Namily on the Inaugural National American Miss Cruise to Costa Maya and Cozumel.

Prices include cruise fare, port charges, fuel supplement charge, and all taxes.

Inside room rates are $540 per person for 2 in a room. This includes room, port charges, and taxes. Tips, spending money, extra amenities on the ship are extra.

Payment of $150 per person is due on or before Jan 1, 2020. Final payment is due by February 13, 2020. You can make changes and receive full refund if changes are made by February 13th. Any changes after that will incur a fee (depending on when the change is made).

Q: What do I need to do to book?

A: Email Priscilla Healy at priscillaphealy@gmail.com with the title being NAM CRUISE. It’s very simple to book your cruise. I only need the following information:

 

Q: Can I have 3 or 4 people in my room?

A: Yes. Please indicate in your email if you want 3 or four people in the room. The 3rd and 4th person will be priced according to the rate it is on the day you ask for your room rate. 3rd and 4th person rates are lower than 1st and 2nd.

Q: Do I need a passport?

A: No. A passport is not required. If you have one, that is all you need for boarding. If not, you will be required to show TWO forms of valid ID. (ie: a valid driver’s license and a certified birth certificate). Minors will only need to show a birth certificate.

Q: What forms of payment are acceptable?

A: Our travel agency’s computer system is linked directly to Carnival’s system and we will process those payments. All major credit cards are accepted. You may pay the entire fee up front, or you may make payments up until Feb 13th.

Q: Can I book this cruise after the deposit due date of January 1, 2020?

A: Yes, but space will be limited and the NAM discounted rate can only be guaranteed through January 1st. After January 1st, please email priscillaphealy@gmail.com directly for the latest availability and pricing.

Q: Where are the ports of call?

A: The cruise will make stops in Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico. Once you make a booking, you will be given a confirmation number and you can go to Carnival.com and see your booking and options for tours. You can also choose to book something on your own with the taxi and transportation services in the ports of call.

Q: Can I pick my room?

A: Yes. Once you pay full deposit of $150, we will work with you on room location. You can pay your full deposit anytime starting now. Deposit is fully refundable until Feb 13th, 2020.

Q: Can we choose our dining time?

A: National American Miss will all be dining at the same time and at tables close to each other. You may choose to opt out of formal dining and eat at a number of other locations and options on the ship, but formal dining will all be determined by the National American Miss staff.

Q: How much are the tips?

A: Tips are $13.99 per person per day. This covers all room attendants, your waiter, assistant waiter, culinary service staff, and other service staff behind the scenes. Every passenger pays tips regardless of age.

Q: Is there WI-Fi on the ship? Can I buy a beverage package on board?

A: Yes and Yes. Internet packages and beverage packages can be purchased before you sail or once you are on board. There are various plans offered at reasonable prices. Please check with your cellular provider about coverage and international charges in Mexico.

Q: What are the age restrictions for those traveling on this cruise?

A: Minors: Guests under the age of 21 must travel with a relative or guardian of 25 years of age or older. Parent or guardian assumes responsibility for any minors they are traveling with and, may not under any circumstances, purchase alcoholic beverages for any guest under the age of 21. Must have a chaperone for every 8 minors. Guests 12 and younger may travel in separate staterooms. However, minors must either be directly across the hall or next door. Minors may not be assigned to a balcony cabin without a relative/guardian. Guests 13 – 17 years of age can be booked up to 3 staterooms away from their accompanying adult. Guests 18 – 20 years of age: do not have any restrictions and may book whatever location they prefer. Prepaid gratuities and/or damage deposits of $100 USD per minor guest may be required for minor groups of 8 cabins or more.
